Michele Anichini

After graduating in law, I did part of my undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Law of the University of Leicester (UK), where I obtained the “Postgraduate Certificate in European Higher Legal Studies”.

I was born into the profession and began my career working in the family firm, Ferrari Bravo Anichini, dealing mainly with civil, corporate and banking litigation and assisting companies.

For almost twenty years, my main activity involved providing assistance to some of the main companies in Florence in the field of Italian and international commercial contracts, bankruptcy procedures, extraordinary transactions, tenders and leases.

While dealing with inheritance disputes, I realised that most of these disputes could have been avoided by planning the succession in advance. I therefore took a closer look at succession planning, and realised that traditional legal instruments, such as wills and donations, were not always appropriate for the different needs of customers.

The switch to Trusts was a natural consequence of this awareness.

I first attended the master’s course on “Asset Planning and Wealth Management” held by Professor Stefano Loconte in Milan, and the following year, again in Milan, I attended the 20th edition of the master’s course on “The Law of Trusts in countries of origin and in Italy” with Professor Maurizio Lupoi, considered to be Italy’s leading expert in trusts.

In recent years, I have dedicated myself to wealth planning and protection together with Saura, with whom I share a passion for law and the set of values on which I base my existence.
